Meet Simone and Derek. They were married at Great Oaks Country Club in Rochester Michigan. It was a perfect day for a perfect couple. I feel that this wasnt just photographing a wedding, it was making a friendship with a new couple. I look forward to many years of photographing babies for them and watching their family grow old. Sanko Wedding Album

I photographed my first solo wedding in October for Ken and Heather and since I delievered the album, I figured I would show off my design, instead of just blogging the photos.
Their album is a 12x8 horizontal album, 29pages. I think its a beautiful document of the day, family and lots of love for the Sanko's. Their wedding was at Meadow Brook Hall in Auburn Hills MI, the weather was perfect and wedding ceremony was beautiful.
My 2nd shooter assistant was Shannon from Photography by Shannon Marie out of Sheby Twp MI. Thanks so much for all the beautiful candid photos and the great angle for the ceremony.

Around November I received a call from a woman who wanted to surprise her husband with some photos for Christmas. This is the Frank Family, minus her husband. Camron is another little baby boy that I've photographed from the begining. The most beautiful blue eyes (no, they are NOT photoshoped)and little up turned nose, like mommy. Great family and perfect little boy. I'm looking forward to his first year shots in the next couple months. Beautiful blue eyes but I do love the black and white photos, reminds me of something I saw from the 1950's but without the cracking.

Here is Heather and Ken. This is a sneak peak of their engagements shots I did a couple weeks ago at Van Housen Farms in Rochester. They wanted a winter scene, but you'll just have to wait untill thy give me the okay to post them.

I created a 'save the date' card for them. They didnt request it, but I wanted to put something together when I shot that specific photo. I think the classic look turned out great, considering their getting married at Meadow Brook in Auburn Hills. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Here is Connor at 3months, he's grown a lot since I photographed him in as a baby in Nov. What a cute little guy, getting him to smile in front of the camera was a challenge but the shots we got turned out great. I just love the 3 pic storyboard of him from a stare to a cry. Love it.

I went back to the Blackburn familys home to take 2 month photos of Cameron and Connor got into the action for a couple shots. I tried to get some nice shots of Connor at Christmastime but it didnt seem to workout. I got a couple shots this time that really show his personality.

Eight week old Cameron was great this day. Alert and completely comfortable with me, the natural light made for some great photos for this family.

Photo Restoration

I did a favor for a friend at work the other day. She had an old, worn out wallet picture of her grandma that she wanted to blow up and frame.

The picture was in pretty bad shape so I went home and scanned it at 600dpi, brought it into photoshop and cleaned up all the worn marks, bends in the photo and faded spots. I think this turned out great, she can now print it 5x7 and put it with other photos of her family.

Holiday Emails

One thing I've been doing for any client I photograph, is giving them a holiday email to send to their family and friends. For example, I recently had a couple shoots this last week and they wanted a picture of their child in their Halloween costumes, so, I photographed their child and for free, I emailed them the photo to send to family, friends or even put on their facebook account.

Meet Stephanie,

She is a fitness model and client of my wifes, who wanted some photos of her before an upcoming show. It was the first time I've done any type of fitness model on a full white background. It was fun, challenging and enjoyable. I hope you like these shots, I think you can really see the definition she has, I know she came in 3rd for that show. Meet the Myrands. I did a Christmas card shoot for them a couple weeks ago. What a great time we had, They have 2 beautiful children and trying to get little Max to smile was fun too.

Here is one quick one to share with you, I made the photo black and white in PP and illuminated their faces with the colors coming off the tree lights, I love the way it looks.

Its Christmas picture and card season. A couple weeks ago I got to shoot a lil cutie named Addyson. Let me tell you, I love photographing kids,,, you never know what your going to get,,, they smile, frown and cry, but Addy was a perfect princess.
